6th place probably good for about 9-9 in conference; maybe even 8-10

So knowing the reduction of talent next year as it stands would that be enough for you to support Jank keeping his job?

Houston remains one of only 5 undefeated teams in Division I hoops. Top half of our league looks pretty competitive this year

East Carolina and Tulane were huge mistakes when the conference decided to add them and continue to be dead weight today. Is there a provision to drop them the way the Big East dropped Temple?

Pretty weak schedules across the board. Houston and Cincy are good. Temple, UCF, and Tulsa are ok. UConn, Memphis and SMU are inconsistent.

Every team mentioned is good enough to be playing in either the NCAA or NIT but I don't expect more than about 6 to make those tourneys. Will be interesting to see who continues to improve and can stay healthy through conference play.

I want to believe you, but I think while Cincy and Houston should be locks for the NCAA barring any slipups in conference, to get a third bid one of the other teams is going to have to have a very strong conference record and sweep one of those two teams. We probably get 3 NIT teams in the above circumstance, but if we only have two NCAA bids, I don't think we will get 4 NIT teams.

We need Kansas State and Oklahoma State to do well in the Big XII so Tulsa can have those as resume wins. I believe Temple is a strong candidate for a fourth NCAA bid as they did well ooc and always do well in conference play. SMU will need to finish 14-4 or better to be in the discussion.

Kind of annoying to have to wait until after the new year for a conference game this season.

Seth Greenberg just said that the AAC has 3 teams that will be in the NCAA tournament. Not bad.

Cincy and Houston look solid assuming they do well in AAC play and then UCF, UConn and Temple are most likely 3rd candidate if they do well in conference...but someone other than Houston or Cincy may need to win the tourney to get 3bids. Should have several NIT worthy teams.
