Who said what when about Coach Jankovich seems only part of the story.
Who expressed interest, and although speculation and hindsight are involved, had SMU gone outside for the next coach who was available and willing and probably acceptable to the University?
Presumably the available money would have been similar to the final offer to Coach Brown.
And, in that time frame, what coach or coaches, well known or sleeper(s) moved to a new job whether for a NCAA level team or not and did well?
