The Tacko Effect. Dude under the basket, arms reach almost to 3pt line.

Exciting to think Jarrey, Shake, and Semi will all most likely be back next year. If they all improve that is a really exciting core.
We can only hope that nucleus is back next year
For sure. I think it's very likely all 3 of them will be back. Especially Jarrey and Shake.

Ive been a critic of Gu's shooting. Not this year. Statistically his shot is as good as anyone on this team.
Embrace it.

Those two free throws were the work of a fearless veteran. He never blinked. No deer in the headlights there....just stepped up and stroked. Don't leave Gu out of any discussion about next year's nucleus.

Tacko Fall is very Tall. Tacko Fall does block the ball. Donald Trump might build a wall Not as good as Tacko Fall.

KenPom on top of his stuff.
He did not have faith that Gu would hit his free throws

I like how people's hate blurs their eyes. Gu is a vital component to this team, excellent defender, boards his position and how big was that steal last night on UCFs fast break late. We're damn lucky to have him next year

During the game, with every play Gu made, I kept saying to myself "we are so lucky to have a guy like that as our 6th man." He is a sixth starter. Can do everything from multiple positions.

So did anybody else notice that Wilfong blocked one of Tacko's shots as he started to go up?

I am a converted Gu fan. He plays hard and those 2 free throws last night were wonderful.
Long live Inez Perez!

The Gu hate has lasted too long. Excellent defender, great ball handler. Maybe a bit below average shooter but I think he gets better at 3's the more crucial the moment in the game. Add to that he can play 3 positions and spell Shake at point. Always wondered if he takes Gu energy gel packs during the game

took me all of 10 seconds to actually go look at stats to confirm my suspicion that this is laughably incorrect. gu is a great addition to the team. his defense is fantastic. his ball handling has been a pleasant surprise. great all-around team player. but do not encourage his awful shooting. the guy should be rationed 2 3pt attempts per game. period.

Jarrey really needs to get that free throw percentage up.

UCF needs to get butts in those seats behind the benches. Looks really bad on TV and a school with an enrollment of around 40k should be much more supportive of what Johnny Dawkins has done for them this year.
