Yes, Terry. He has taken a lot of grief on here but the guy has never stopped playing hard. He was fantastic today. Don't win without him.

Also, he really has the students behind him. He gets a "Gu!" Every time he hits a shot from the MOB.

His best game at SMU period. He picked a hell of a time for it too.

Played 27 minutes to Jarrays 28, but it seemed like he was in most of the second half.

Great game and I couldn't agree more on GU. He contributed big baskets today, but if never scored a point he would still be a huge contributor. Handles the ball well and plays great D.

GU was the player of the game imo. HUGE sparkplug in 2nd half! those threes and the alleyoop really changed the momentum of the game

How about the foul on Ben Moore toward the end of the game for his fifth .

I'll give the officials that call...he reached in and inadvertently grabbed the player by the arm.

I'd point to the multiple instances with calls going one way for Cinci and the opposite for us. We close out and it's a foul on us...they close out and it's a foul on us. Multiple points in the pain where Cinci players blatantly dragged the plant foot. The push-offs were pretty egregious as well.

But, that happens in many games and they overcame it. Wasn't really an issue because they didn't let it become one. Jank has done a great job of addressing it with the refs, then moving past it and ensuring the guys worry about the game and not the refs.

I love Ben but he has to be smarter there. He has to make sure it is a jump ball which would have been our possession and not foul and give them free throws with a chance to score without moving the clock.

What's pretty amazing is that our 3pt % was much higher than theirs. We outrebounded them by 1. Everything else was tight, TOs, assists, etc. We shot at a much higher percentage.

Our second half shooting numbers were ridiculous. It sure didn't feel that way watching the game, but the numbers never lie, right?
