Clearly they noticed that the high rollers were in the house
I hope the attendance at hoe games mirrors the success of this team. What is ECU like in BB?
Have you noticed how much better they have gotten since we attended the Houston game? I think they got the message we were serious about wanting improvement.

We have 10 more games, minimum. IF we win half of them, that is 18 wins for the season. Does that get us dancing?
Not even close, our RPI is dreadful because of some of those early losses to cruddy teams when we were still learning. Probably the only way to get to the CBI is to make Huge Noise in the conference...threaten for the title, go to to C-USA tourney final, etc......
Well I doubt they will go as well, but I think there are some 130 post-season spots, so you never konw.

RPI don't mean crap when it comes to the CBI. Its a pay to play tourney, and we'd pay

We have to go 7-2 the rest of the season and have a very strong Tourney performance to get considered. Anything under 20 wins for the regular season with some of our less than stellar loses early in the year put us in a very difficult place to get noticed.

LISTEN TO ME: The CBI is pay to play. As long as we have 18 wins or so, we'll get a serious look, cause we'll pay. That was the entire goal of this schedule. Many schools will get a look, but many won't pay.

That is encouraging. WE SHOULD PAY. We could really use the exposure.

and we would pay. I know this cause there were certain games on the schedule where I was consulted about the other teams personnel. When it was thought all 3 kids in '10 would clear, they wanted 20 wins in the worst way, even if we played no one. That would have meant a CBI or NIT offer, and Orsini is ok w/paying for the CBI. It was about artificially generating momentum, until reinforcements showed up

I listened in and out and had to track the second half on the iphone. Last minute looked a little maddening. We're fouling? What tha...
It would seem once we hit the two 3s to go up 41-31 to start the second half, we kept them at arms' length.
Congratulations to the team.
When do CBI home game tickets go on sale?

When was the last time we had one of the better football teams in our conference AND one of the better basketball teams(M)?
It hasn't been in decades I would think. And it sure feels good right now. No longer a doormat?

26 years! And entire generation of Mustang fans that never experienced more complete athletic success at SMU. It should be a crime.
