Dez was highly ranked coming out of DeSoto. He was a Rivals four star recruit and the #75 ranked player in the country. According to his profile, he was being recruited by K-State, Mississippi St., OU and Tennessee. Based on prep rankings, he’s the highest ranked player we’ve landed outside of Hop in ten years. I haven’t seen him play in a couple of years, but he was a damn good player at DeSoto. He averaged 7 pts with a 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio as a freshman in the Big XII.....that’s not too shabby.

As for the rest of last year’s class, who knows? I have very little to go on with Fall or Morris. I am hoping to catch a few practices soon and when I do, I’ll report what I see.

Take last years' class (or the overall quality of it) multiple by 4 and you have a complete team.

Can that 'team' compete for C-USA title....I don't know..but I doubt it.

I guess that is why they play the season.

PS: Butch Moore ruled.
