I know about it, because I saw it when I played for SMU soccer and a number of Bendict's players ended up leaving the team. I think dez falls into that category. And just cause a player leaves does not mean he was run off. Also, please tell me who Doherty is running off?

Dez falls into the category of part time starter and solid contributor on UNT right now, a team that is much better than ours and probably has equally promising potential in the future. I didn't suggest that doherty was running off multiple players, I was responding to someone else's comment. It does beg the question though when you recruit 7 freshman in one class about how that will work.

Hello Hoop Fan. Hope you have a merry Christmas. Just have a couple of questions. I thought I would see if it was that unusual to sign that many freshmen in one year so I checked CUSA on Rivals for the last few years for some schools. Memphis signed six in 05 and UTEP signed six in 07. A couple of the signings for each school were prep school kids, so that may make some difference. Is six ok and seven bad? Or is there a cut off? I only looked at 3 or 4 schools and found those two examples pretty quickly. The second question is how does signing seven freshmen " beg the question "??

I support our coach and feel he is going in the right direction...It will happen...progress is being made...I enjoy the game and watching the developement of the players and their energies. I watch the coaches...all of them...teach and guide the young players...I can see improvement in most areas...will be good foundation for the future. Go Mustangs!!!
