This is embarrassing. We need a juco PG in the worst way
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

Another TO. We're up to 16 now. And on a travel call, no less.

The announcer just declared that "SMU is back in it" because we are now only down by 12 with 9 mins to go. Obviously he is a little more confident than most of us are.

OT: Who is the color analyst on this game? He's a former college coach, but I can't think of who he is.

Jon Killen fouls out on a questionable offensive charge.

He a combo that doesn't shoot very well. Its funny, I've always stated that combo's need to be able to shoot and penetrate to be effective offensively. I really don't know what Mike Walker does well. Don't get me wrong, he's not bad per se, but his true strengths are impossible to put a finger on

I thought I knew when he was signed he was a PG. Now, I have no idea. You know the ol saying. When you have several point guards....

I thought that was quarterbacks. If you have two quarterbacks, that means you dont have one. I guess it sure does apply to point guards too, just doesnt sound as good.

Bennie Rhodes is the same way. He's not really a 2 and certainly not a 1. He's like a utility guard. Dubois is a combo, as well.
Otis is a great signing, but Clarke doesn't even start for his high school. Justin Haynes kills the look test, but he also has a really bad wheel right now. We need more fire power. Haynes/Rhodes & Harp are next years SGs. Really could use a motivated Nyakundi, if he can play

add Harp to that too. I heard Doh once say on the radio that Harp could play any position including the 4. Huh? Worries me that Rhodes was so far down on the depth even before he got hurt. Is he really still hurt or are they putting him on the shelf for a redshirt?
