Sorry, Tipoff. I ran out to my car to listen to the last 28 seconds.

Gilliam career-high 28 points.
Elliott 13 and 16
Wills returned to score 8
But credit Lala with those big FGs between to stretch it to 68-62 that gave us the much-needed cushion.

Shot 35 percent from the field and 63.6 from the FT line. Usually, that spells loss. But these girls have been in a lot of tight games.

Survive and advance. Survive and advance.

Hey, we're on TV on Saturday at 2 p.m. on CBSCS-TV.

Two years in a row with a 20-win season. That's outstanding!

Really can't use that line when it comes to the men's program.

I was just looking at the numbers - Gilliam hits two more free throws, she nets a 30-point performance. She deserved to be 1st team all-conference. Who knows - maybe she's playing with a chip on her shoulder for the snub. I'll take it if it means more wins for the team.

I think it's a joke Gilliam wasn't first-team all-CUSA. The political stuff that goes into these teams is thick than you know what.

But like I said a while back, they can keep their honors, and we'll just keep on playing deep in March -- that's what people will remember.
