Meanwhile, the kids formspring is overrun by Mason & Siena fans, basically telling the kid to go to their school. How they have fan support etc. Over on the Mason message board, a 20 plus page thread is dedicated to the kid. So many instances where this program could use fan support, instead they get the same post over & over. We get it, Doh is flailing. Doesn't change the fact that we need a PG now, for a team that has pretty good personnel next year for this league.
Just saw this kid's formspring and it raises questions regarding recruiting violations to me. Aren't people who are university boosters supposed to avoid contact with recruits unless the contact is purely coincidental?
formspring is secondary violation central, but it's new media and mostly anonymous, so it's a loophole for now. I'm not advocating formspring contact, just making the point that we are underrepresented. Just another reason this is a tough job
what the heck is formspring?

I believe you were that same guy for PB for a LONG TIME.
Forrest, Tom, Mike Cavan and Phil "didn't have a chance to win...The system was not set up to win. I really think I'm the only Coach since the Death Penalty that's been given an opportunity to truly be on a level playing field" Coach June Jones
ummmm ponydoh can defend it all he wants but the same system is set across the board... he will defend it with some nonsense argument which stallion has put to rest a number of times. like the post above this one... thats why i dont read them because they're garbage, just like doh's coaching! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8xReWCLIxs
Stallion and I don't really disagree on the topic. Just b/c the same system is set across the board, doesn't mean it effects each sport equally. You want to be Top 25, fix what is still broken. It's not like the football staff just loves higher core requirements then the NCAA minimum. It's not like football loves the transfer credit situation or lack of sports friendly majors etc. Again, there isn't a debate here, but way to get personal.

Please explain why that if we are proactive as a fan base some stud PG will decide to go to SMU over George Mason. Are we supposed to fill up a message baord begging him top come and telling him he will have free reign over the Kappa house if he decides to come to SMU? Seems like its Doh's job and the coaches job to close the deal on recruits, not the fan base. Plus, can you blame fans for being dis-interested after the last several years? Maybe if Doh keeps bad-mouthing BE programs we will get better quality recruits.
