I bought my 3 for me and the girls but I'm going to encourage them to bring a friend with them.
My goal is to convert all those little TCU kool-aid drinking kids and help them see the light.
The power of SMU compels you....

Next year I'm going to see what we can do w/ PSA in Plano...they have a few thousand kids altogether.
I've been to a minor league hockey game before that started at 11am, during the week, so that they could bus in 5000 elementary kids. Place was LOUD.
Presently I'm somewhere over Illinois or Missouri, so if someone has kids in mind, let me know and I'll call Terry back. FCA kids were great in the past. 100, 200 kids in $250 chunks..let's bring ourselves a crew guys. Our own 'bus brigade' of sorts.
Talked to Tony Johnson with the Dallas Mustangs Basketball group...they don't have a tourney this weekend except for the 17's going to Houston, so he will let me know tomorrow how many he can use...maybe 20-30 tickets.
I can allocate my 20 to them if needed.

Also, groups of 50 or more, tickets are $5 each. Someone find me a group of 50 kids and ill get them to the game..
Would be nice if we could have 3 or 4 of us band together and do the same.
I just saw this, great idea by SMU. I want in.

Just be careful because there are some who will call this Rent-a-fan.
Of course, they're going to want to own both sides of the argument.
1. They will complain that SMU attendance is awful 2. If these fans show up, then they will be branded as not being true SMU fans.
Yada Yada Yada.

True, and they would have some validity, except that we re talking about getting kids who have no reason to support SMU in to watch the game and then maybe they will start supporting SMU and consider going to school here, send in applications, etc, all of which benefits the University. It's not like we are contacting the local Aggie alumni association and telling them we'll got free tickets for them. I brought my middle schoolers to a couple of games when I was a teacher and they loved it. This is an opportunity for SMU to reach out to the community. And anyone who thinks this kind of thing is a joke isn't worth the steam off my.....

I'm slipping the announcer $20 so you get selected for the half court shot.
And I may have an extra
