Why has SMU not sent out an email about tickets for Friday?

I probably get 3 eMails a week from the SMU and COX alumni departments on everything from Bush Library to Continuing Education. Their contact lists seem to be up to date; can't the athletic department recruit these (and other) alumni groups to send out an email about this game...

BTW, bought my 4 tickets for the game!!!

I don't think the schools share that info. Cox doesn't want other schools diminishing its ability to uniquely fund raise from its alumni base. I don't necessarily agree with this, but I know schools are suffering from the new mandatory MC donation associated with tix.

Now that I have to donate about $4k to buy my tickets, that directly impacts how much I send to Cox.

Have the athletic department send the email content to the alumni groups and asked them to send to their lists on BB team’s behalf????

This way, no one has to share their list if that’s really the problem.

Faculty, Staff and Students got an email at 9:24 a.m. today. My wife (faculty) asked if we could leave an event of hers early on Friday night to catch the second half. Really?!? Sweet.

All students who have opted for the sports package as well as all faculty and staff can get into the game FREE by having his/her ID scanned at Gate 8.

All undergraduate students taking 12 hours or more receive the sports package.
Faculty/Staff can get up to two (2) admissions - one for him/herself and one for a guest.
