This really is great news for the program and the school. I'm sure whatever they have planned will be fantastic. I would also like to think they will do their best to keep the basic charm of Moody because it really is an awesome place for a basketball game.

Think I would rather be a smart azs and eat the $6. LOL

I see the mustang club attempted. An ACH debit. For 20,000,000 it was declined because it was over my daily allowance. :-))

BTW is this work projected to be finished for next year or the year after

good point OTP. Guess the game vs. New Mexico at the AAC wasnt just a rumor. What they didnt tell us was all home games will be at the AAC next season while they renovate Moody. Sweet!

Interesting. That's right about the time Nova is supposed to announce whether they are moving to DI-A in football in the Big East...

First of all, this is awesome news. Can't wait to see the plans for it. A new scoreboard is a must, and I hope it's included in this renovation. Moody is limited b/c of its somewhat low ceiling relative to its size, but I like the way GW did theirs, and it's HD:

I like it - having seats all the way down instead of the bleacher nonsense. Looks much better

For sure? I don't see that happening due to so many Mav games.

only if they'd let us play the first half of a double header. no way that happens. tongue in cheek...we'd play at Loos before we played at the AAC regularly

Auburn's new arena holds a little over 9,000 and has 12 suites...I could see Moody configured in a similar fashion...shave off some of the upper level seats to get it to 7500 or so

We still have a natatorium facing the Boulevard that is a disgrace and about to fall down. The facility is so bad that we can no longer recruit good swimmers and our long history of being top 10 in both men's and women's swimming is a tradition of the past. 20 million would have built a new facility; however, a lead donor to initiate the new pool project remains unfound.

My thoughts exactly. At this point I would like to see our revenue sports start to generate some revenue so that we can subsequently start projects for the other sports. If that means 99.99% of the funding is directed towards football and men's basketball so be it.
