arrived home, flipped on the game, watched for 10 minutes, saw ONE hoop...painful. You guys sit here and analyze this thing like it is legit, worth commentary....this is NOT D-I hoops, not even close...we are a LONG way from the OSU OT moment...sigh.

Charleston Pony wrote:sure would be nice if we had a low post presence; our bigs are more comfortable on the perimeter and we end up with everybody on the perimeter trying to se high screens for each other. I thought Frog did a good job getting the ball inside early on, but our bigs have no quickness and are no offensive threat inside

if Rob is lost for the day, we are in big trouble

This. 5 guys on the perimeter all trying to set picks for each other. Damnedest offensive plan I've ever seen. I am now 100% convinced we have no set plays.

Have to make free throws if they are going to foul us every time down the court.

Well, that stunk. In year 6, we're 10-11 (2-5), and two of those wins were against opponents that don't count for RPI purposes; dropped 3 CUSA games in a row.

Bottom line is that this team has too many periods where we go completely cold and turn the ball over too much.

We have to become a consistent team if we are going to make progress.

We also have to make free throws down the stretch. Jalen Jones was 6 for 6 in free throw shooting and is now 6 for 10.

But... but... think of the recruits coming in... and the team is so young...

Same [deleted] each year. Same team each year.

You guys are giving this bunch waaaaaaay to much credit. Our guys look uncoordinated, don't LOOK like players, we have NO studs on this team..clumsy, slow, weak to the hole, high schoolish, light...man, we have a loooooong way to go. First move, dump Doh, what?, 25 games belwo .500 after 6 years and a team of clumsy / slow / B teamers....time for a change, imho.
