Official SMU Rice Game Thread

Braun is a good coach and good recruiter. Rice should be pretty damn happy w/the direction of their program. They never should have been able to sniff kids like Jackson, Kazemi, Dubose, even Reishelle. Those are all very legit east coast kids

too bad they dont enjoy a home court advantage; that's a nice little "snake pit" of a gym they built. Would really rock if they could put close to 5k in that place every night

Funny to think back to the SWC days. OUr last conference title was stolen from Rice when they got upset on the last game of the season by Tony Barone's fightin Ags...gave SMU the title out right.

Just think, with schools like Baylor, Texas, A@M, and Texas Tech...SMU and RIce led the conference that year.

Rice 28-23 over SMU at under 16 timeout. Nyk will be shooting 2 coming out of the break.

So, we've played 27 minutes. We've scored 25 points. We're losing by 11 to Rice. What. The [deleted].

SMU down 9 now, 39-30, at the under 11 time out. Nyk will be shooting 2.

Smith is playing terrible low block defense, everyone else is shutting Kazemi down except for him and it gave Rice momentum.

Williams having a nice game, need to get it going.

SMU 6-20 from 3 point range, almost all of them wide open looks.

Manuel looks terrible, he is a turnover machine, Doh gonna have to get him out for the stretch run.

Clinkscales and Williams are only 2 so far that are showing they can put it in the hoop. Nyk is doing OK , getting fouled alot.

Williams did have a really nice sequence where he drove baseline, used the rim to screen as he hit a reverse lay in; then pulled down a defensive board before knocking down a trey

sure would like to see more of that

Agree....we have good shots..just not falling......have time though...

Rice hasnt scored a field goal in 8 minutes, but we still in trouble...just cant score ourselves.
