Hofstra has a traditionally good program picking up the second tier kids out of NYC. They are tough kids and this will not be a roll over game for SMU. In fact, the Ponies will need to play very well to beat them. Rider plays in a good competitive conference and gets their kids generally from Northern NJ, NYC or Philadelphia. They were down last year and return with a new coach this season. This should be a game the Ponies can expect to win.
