Ha, our bench out scored their bench tonight. That can't happen very often.

Hilarious hearing LB in the postgame talking about SMU playing some zone tonight...

Very true. And he doesn't use coach speak. His post games are pretty brutally honest.

At the URI game, they dropped into a 1-3-1 zone a few times. It worked.

To me, it looks like a 10-5 OOC slate, heading into CUSA. By the end of the year, Russell/Jones/Manuel are going to deserve an iron man award.

Ryan Jones Manuel are no doubt our big 3. That said, I'm gonna keep a close eye on Williams every game. He scores 8-12 we are in good shape. If he's a ghost probably not. Him scoring I guess is a sign of how the offense is running.

Yeah but 6-5 points isn't what we are looking for....

Good to get a win away from home though...see you out there at 4Pm on the 30th. Furman will get SMU to double digits before CUSA play we hope.

I still think they should unleash Brian in ISO 3 point situations...he's shooting in mid 40 % for both 2's and 3's with such limited playing time. He hasn't got in a groove yet, if he does he can light it up from the arc and open up driving lanes for Manuel and Jones.

You have to play Dickerson and Bernardi, they need some minutes, maybe 5 a game at least to give the other guys rest / foul relief. Even if they aren't good enough in Browns mind.
