Memphis does play terrible basketball. I've never seen a team try so hard to give away a game as they did against St Mary's.

On a side note, since I've followed college basketball, I don't think I've ever seen a coach who has his guys ready to play and has his team deliver every year like Tom Izzo. IMO, he is the best coach in college bball.

Memphis was incredibly undisciplined play MSU.
To think what a Brad Stevens (Butler coach) could do with Memphis talent!

So many games of the tournament are unwatchable as a result of talent leaving for the NBA, expanded field and a general emphasis on athleticism instead of basketball skill and savvy.

Memphis is exhibit A for a team that has very little basketball savvy and tries to win with athleticism.
