The huge Mustang won't happen, because the '90s are over, and I really like the skyline there, but can't see SMU getting that edgy with it. I predict a very plain, classic look with simple writing. Maybe with "Dallas, Texas" or "Moody Coliseum", but not a lot of color on the floor.

The 90's are over but this is Texas and everything is big in Texas!!!

Stealth- that looks awesome. Only change I might suggest is putting "Dallas, Texas" instead of "Big D" in the big letters at the bottom, and perhaps move the American logo to the free throw line, as it looks a little congested with the big pony and everything else going on at midcourt. Also probably have to factor in some sponsor logos. But that's an awesome design- you should send it to Rick Hart

Heard Aresco in an interview this week suggesting that every conference member would have the option of making the conference logo in their individual school colors and thought that many may even simplify that and use only the "star" design inside the A logo. He appeared to be very flexible in how schools presented the logo on their courts and fields.

I would prefer SMU in place of Big D

Our friends in Memphis are letting their fans vote on their new court design...

Some interesting concepts - including incorporating the skyline as suggested here for Moody.

A great idea to get the fans involved too, although I would imagine SMU already has the design in place.

Memphis should stay away from the skyline - It's completely unimpressive and unoriginal as a city skyline, and yet it'll be gaudy as a design on the court.

UCF did it right. I like Memphis' too, certainly better than what I'm sure we have in the works

Now if the school rips this off, I at least expect some comped tickets or something.

Stealth, think it's fantastic. Only thing I would change is the blue fill around the Mustang's legs

We will have the same ultra-sanitized 1960's collegiate affluent design that all our advertisements are based on. No attempt to connect with Greater Dallas

If we do go with sanitized cokegiate I hipe we at least do something different with it. How about we go with white as our base floor color instead of wood grain? Make the court reminiscent of the football helmet.

Are you doing anything constructive to change that? You sound a tad disgruntled.
