As a longtime nba fan only now really getting into college basketball (guess why) the extended shot clock was jarring at every SMU game I have attended the past several years. It isn't so bad these days but there is a lot of wasted time with the longer shot clock. I would cut it to 30 and see what happens


Btw, LAXER, I would put a shot clock in lacrosse too.

They added one last season. Once a team has stalled their possession, an invisible thirty second shot clock starts. It sped up the game dramatically and increased scoring. I loved it as a player, coach and spectator.
