I agree with the "to heck with Louisville" sentiment but I am glad they won only so far as it lets us take a shot at them while they are top 10 and sporting that impressive road record in conference.

Great finish. At least Louisville will be higher in the rankings when they get to Moody.

Agreed. I would LOVE for L'ville to scurry off to the AAC with hat in hand. Whatever big [deleted] points L'ville creates this year, they take with them.

Yep-----US (SMU) , Memphis, UConn or Cinci should be the ones to make noise in the NCAA Tourney and let L'ville head off into the sunset with their head hanging low.

If L'ville is playing UCF, I want L'ville to win (in line with OBF's comments); playing Cincy, I hope they lose. Didn't work out today.

Louisville will most likely be in the top 10 when they come to Moody

Just out of curiosity for those rooting for Cinci...what does it help if Cincinnati had won? I don't see any advantage hardly, I do see a better Moody atmosphere for Louisville, higher seeding for the AAC as a whole in the tourney and a chance to get another major win at home. Who cares if they're leaving the conference, would rather have a chance against a top 5-10 team at home than not.

Apparently cincinatti students threw tons of stuff at Louisville players as they left the court. And cincy fans claimed that our student section was asking for problems

In the grand scheme of the Universe, you're right. Doesn't matter. We just need our current top four (ex post L'ville) to be as good as possible...and the bottom to pick up their game.

If Louisville had lost they would just be one game in front of us, easier to catch them. Seems pretty straight forward.

And what does that do? 2 seed in the tourney verse a possible 3 seed...I don't see much else. I'm just saying, I'd rather see a top 10 team in my building than anything else, makes for an awesome atmosphere especially when it's defending national champs

It will be a high charged atmosphere anyway. In case you hadn't noticed it has been good all season. Also, if Louisville wins the conference it makes the AAC look worse next year because it will be viewed as if the AAC lost the best team. Looking at the big picture anything that stops Louisville from winning the conference is best for the AAC.

You think it's not going to be viewed that way anyways from outsiders? In case you missed it, they've got the best football program in the conference and won the natty last year in basketball. Winning or losing a conference tournament isn't going to change the fact that the best program is leaving, nor does it change the fact that there are still powerhouses both recently and historically in Cinci and UConn.

If Cincinnati wins it will not be viewed as that. In case you missed it Louisville did not have the best football team in the conference, UCF did. Louisville doesn't need to win the conference regular season title or the tournament.
