Myles Turner is a 6′-11″, 230 pound power forward with a 7′-2″ wingspan from Euless Trinity (TX), nearly in between Dallas and Fort Worth. Turner has not decided where he will play college basketball, and lists the Texas Longhorns, Duke Blue Devils, Kansas Jayhawks, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Arizona Wildcats, Ohio State Buckeyes and Kentucky Wildcats among the finalists for his services. His first two official visits were to Ohio State and Oklahoma State.

In an era of “exposure” camps for prospects in middle school and younger, there are’t many surprises as player reach their senior year of high school. Myles Turner rates as one of those nearly unfathomable surprises. During the spring of 2013, Turner appeared and ultimately starred for Texas Select, largely on the Under Armour circuit. Between his sophomore and junior grassroots seasons, Turner was out with injury. After just a few events, his physical gifts and inside-outside skills had him appointed to most top-10 lists nationally in the 2014 class. He remains in that sphere, and in fact threatens to ultimately reach a No. 1 rank.

At nearly 7-feet tall, Turner possesses an affable demeanor to go with his versatile offensive game and burgeoning defensive instincts. He is still young, but seems to be learning just how he can dominate games with his immense skill level. Turner seems to wisely be evaluating who leaves for the NBA among his potential suitors, and who his fellow teammates will be.

At the conclusion of his senior year of high school, Turner is slated to play in the McDonald’s All-American game, and as a member of the United States team in the Nike Hoop Summit. He will be able to present his case for No. 1 on a big stage at those times.

In related news, Bigfoot has been sighted on the SMU campus. Apparently, he has been staying in the new sophomore housing for months.

Also, I just heard from a waitress who served a table for a guy who surfed with June Jones in Hawaii last week, and he said Coach Jones has decided to step down.

My friends, roommates, cousins, uncles, bar tenders, taxi drivers, protologists, nephew, who took Myles order at a steak n shake in Addison 12 years ago can confirm that this is definitely true.

What a [deleted] dumb thread. Delete this.

Believe it or not the mods don't spend all day reading posts. Try e-mails.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

There is no earthly reason to delete this thread. If the principal screwed up, that's on him. chalk up the rest to viral marketing. The more Myles to smu banter, here or anywhere, the better. It's all for the good

Agreed. I've never understood why it should be deleted. It's just a forum. If only we PonyFans could actually influence anything with a rumor thread! Lol.
