Not sure what the insinuation was. I'd consider Gtown to be among the elites though, pretty damn good offer imo. Won't be long before Gtown is back in the Top 10 consistently

I'm as happy for our success as the next guy, but right now we are still solidly at "flash in the pan" status. Sure, I'd take us in a game against Georgetown (and a lot of other historically good basketball programs) right now, but there's a lot of cockiness coming from us SMU fans these days. I look forward to a day when I feel comfortable claiming to be a better basketball school than somewhere like Georgetown, but for now we just have a better team and the "new toy" factor.

Yeah, when I responded to you, I meant I'm not sure what his insinuation of Georgetown was...whether they're bad kids that go there or it's a bad program or what....

Grandstaff's athelticism is average at best and is more of a pure shooter who has the ability to spot up or put the ball on the floor to use his floater in the lane.
Calathes comparison isnt bad but he was a magician with the ball and a much better passer than Grandstaff while I think Grandstaff may be more of a shooter.
So like ray Allen?

Ray Ray was a sick athlete back in the day. Many forget his playing days at UConn and early NBA career w/ Milwaukee and the Sonics. That dude could get up and play. Steph Curry to a T. Now he's been demoted purely to a shooter and what people will remember him for being.

lol, old Ray needs an oxygen tank and 5 days rest to get up and down the court these days. Young Ray though, he was fun to watch, his teams sucked so bad that you only got one chance a year though

If he can hit from long range, go get him. This team is a deadly shooter away from being, well, deadly.
