Re: Foreshadow? The block out is really cool- but let's focus on getting everyone to wear one color first before we start blocking out sections. We've gotta walk before we can run

Re: Foreshadow?
Agreed. I personally like the idea of a white out over a red or blue out. IMO lighter colors tend to standout more on tv in basketball arenas as opposed to darker colors especially with the way the lighting is structured at Moody.
Re: Foreshadow?
Not that you're serious, but encouraging people to bring 2/3 of an IED into a packed coliseum seems...questionable.
Re: Foreshadow? With a white-out we will Really be able to see who isn't showing up in the Red Seats.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Re: Foreshadow?
Harvard crimson and Yale blue are our official School colors; however, we use Pantone 186 and Pantone 286, respectively. These are technically lighter shades of the original colors chosen by Hyer. "This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?"

Re: Foreshadow?
Actually some do care that are colors come from 2 of the highest academic institutions in the world. http://smu.edu/spirit/ The University’s first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Red and Yale Blue as the school colors to symbolize SMU’s high standards. Last edited by Rebel10 on Wed Feb 26, 2014 4:11 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Foreshadow? Is it too early for the sun dresses and cowboy boots that flood the boulevard? Like the shorts blazers and ties on the gents as well.
I am confused. Are we trying to copy the big time programs or bring our uniqueness to the national stage?

Re: Foreshadow? Please white shirts on every seat!! I hope we learned that you cant half [deleted] this kind of stuff. Pom Poms only mean the student section wont clap. Makes the chanting weird and noise level lower.
Please guys, don't mess this up. #GodFather #Tempo
Re: Foreshadow?
I think it's a great symbolic definition, but even Harvard and Yale are inconsistent with the shades. I like SMU red and blue as defined in the guidebook.

I wasn't; but FYI you really wouldn't feel safe at HS football game in West Texas then... ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.azcentral.com/community/gilb ... coach.html
