I always thought his shooting was an issue; didn't see the mid-range game you saw. Agree he was a good defender and could slash, but I always thought he had more 4 skills in a 3 (or even a 2) body. At any rate, I think he will benefit from this year off and have a chance to work on what he needs to be successful at A&M.

Jalen would have been our most tenacious interior competitor and best rebounder. He also would have helped considerably more than Ben and Cannen, despite getting less minutes than he wanted. The kid who lit Ben up vs UVA, wouldn't have done so to jalen. Same can be said of Justin Jackson at Cincy. That's two losses right there, where jalen was the perfect match up
