It's not just a simple question you asked.

I guess it is not that easy to ask any questions on ponyfans without sarcastic responses. Equestrian, Baseball, Women's Hoops... Oh well. Wasn't that big of a deal, was just asking. You guys are probably right, there are a number of really valuable threads in the Recruiting Section... No name basketball player commits to Texas Tech, USC QB who did not play visits UT, a whole lot to do with SMU.
If this makes everyone feel better we can turn this into the most popular thread for sarcastic jabs. Come on let's get 1000+ responses.
exactly! would you rather the tech and tcu recruiting threads take up valuable space in our football forum? scrolling down is a pain in the [deleted].

Who cares how long I have been following ponyfans.com? Why does that matter to you? Who cares how long I have been posting? Is it not ok to ask a simple question? Why do you take unnecessary sarcastic jabs? I will never get it. Maybe it is an insecurity thing. Be grateful for the fact that we have alums and fans who want to talk SMU Sports.
You suggested Markus Kennedy play small forward next season. My apologies for not being able to take you seriously, but at least try to make a halfway intelligent point every once in awhile

Separate but equal. That's ok I think?
Under Title IX they will be required to have the same number of posts.

East Coast Mustang, yes I mentioned that MK should play SF. Remember next year or the year after, who said it first. My Lineup: Yanick at Center, Myles Turner or Elijah Thomas at PF, and MK at SF. That is a basketball opinion. Who is your SF, PF, C in 2014 and 2015?
You and others can continue to be sarcastic and have non basketball opinions. You can continue to attack posters instead of having a sports opinion. You are actually spending your time today being critical over a simple question about whether it makes sense to have a Recruiting Board. It was just a suggestion. Come on. Talk about a waste of time. Look in the mirror! Don't see much value in it.

I will be willing to bet you $5,000 or more that Markus Kennedy will NOT play SF in 2014 or 2015. If you're so confident, put your money where your mouth is.

From a basketball factual stand point, there is 0.00% chance that Markus Kennedy plays SF period. There's not even the slightest possibility, it will not happen. The fact that you think it is possible is the reason people aren't taking you at all serious. If you've watched 2 hours of basketball in your life, you would know why. If you've played 10 minutes of even junior high ball, you would also know why this will never happen. The 3 has to handle the ball and be quick enough to guard the wing. Basketball is not just about height and weight so I don't know where you're getting this from. It'd be like you suggesting Russell Wilson move to slot receiver he's closer to the size of other slot receivers instead of 6'5, 230 like most quarterbacks. I don't understand what is so difficult to understand about this. Kennedy's skill-set is a 4 or even a 5 in the college game, in the NBA, it's the 4 or he won't be in the NBA. He DOES NOT have the skills to play the 3. Wiki the small forward spot if you need to understand the responsibilities of the 3 or buy the Complete Idiot's Guide to Basketball. And no, I'm not trying to come down [deleted] you, just telling you why people aren't taking you serious at your suggestions.
