Re: We beat a Sweet 16The committee just cherry picked a stat to justify our exclusion. It was BS

Re: We beat a Sweet 16Bingo
Re: We beat a Sweet 16So now that that has been decided, will they change their minds and let us in? Time to drop it and hope we have proper committee representation next year.

Re: We beat a Sweet 16You're missing my point. There are a number of fans here who act as if we *deserved* exclusion, as if the rape was justified. I want THAT line of thinking dropped now and forever. Yes, of course, to the scheduling and committee representation points, to how we take steps to prevent it going forward.
Re: We beat a Sweet 16I have only seen one person on this site that thought we did not deserve a bid to the NCAA.

Re: We beat a Sweet 16I've seen more, but let's go with what you say. Good news. I'm moving on.
Re: We beat a Sweet 16
And we are back to them deciding who gets in based on who played the least terrible teams apparently.
Re: We beat a Sweet 16
In part, yes. Not sure why you're focusing on this. They considered the full spectrum of teams played. Good, not so good, and downright bad. As Hoop and others have noted (including HCLB), the easier schedule was by design. Shrug. I thought they were in, but clearly I was one of the many disappointed. Our SOS was what we paid for. Feel free to insert your own conspiracy theory. Pony up!
We beat a Sweet 16
I do not have a conspiracy theory, I am just pointing out that any system that in the end came down to them comparing the worst teams that SMU played and the worst teams that NC state, or any other teams played is a ridiculous system. That is what happens when they focus on rpi and then narrow the focus further to OOC SOS.
Re: We beat a Sweet 16Honestly I am sick of caring. Lets worry about the NIT. We will all be ready for the arrival of Mudiay and I think the snub makes our returning players stronger. Feel bad for the seniors but seriously? Are we going to dwell on the snub forever?? We will soon be the only people talking about it. Lets pony up
Re: We beat a Sweet 16every year there are a handful of programs that feel they were deserving of a bid to the big dance, but only one of them goes on to win the NIT and remain worthy of mention. Sure would be nice to be that program, but we have a long ways to go to make that happen.
