SMU is very focused on revenue and cutting costs these days (see Bain project, Moody Reseat, etc)

MK on the court, SMU in NCAA Tourney = revenue, Significant exposure.

It is purely a business decision for the University. It is in the best interest of SMU to make sure he is back on the court. MK on the court would also be in the best interest of the student athlete, who is pursuing a career in the NBA. It is worth millions to MK.

Yes - he needs to do the work. But SMU better be sure that the end result is in the best interest of both the University and the student athlete.

I agree with Ponytime. Let's be real he is at SMU to develop his BB skills for a shot at the NBA. The process doesn't work for all future hopefuls.

If MK is done at SMU I have a very bad feeling that LB could also be done at SMU sooner rather than later. He holds back when asked about these things, but I assure you that he is p#ssed about how all of this was handled and the lack of tutor help for the players at exam times.

Nic Moore on the floor going through final warm-ups with teammates. Not doing anything fast, but doesn't looks like he's moving around OK, starting and stopping (although not at full speed) and decent jumping ability.
