I don't want to be ranked this week so we still have that chip on our shoulder for Thursday, otherwise I see us blowing it. The last decade of sports pain I have endured has conditioned me to think this way.

I think we will be ranked given what happened around the country last week. Plus i wouldn't be surprised if the espn linked voters get a message from espn encouraging their voters to allow them to hype the game as featuring a ranked team.

I think this team is really starting to gel and show the experience I thought we would play with all year. As a result, I don't expect them to have a mental let down. This doesn't mean we can't get beat.

what time do the rankings usually come out? would love to see us ranked and as others have said get onto the scroll at the bottom of espn etc

The timing is good if we keep winning. This makes Thursday's game even more important. Tough opponent on ESPN and ranked. Last two time we were ranked we spit the bit. I am very glad we are at Moody to protect our rank. Got to beat Cinci at home.

It is so cool to be able to watch the top 25 and see SMU in there. It may not mean anything in terms of the tourney, but is huge for national recognition and validating our progress. The guys deserve it given how difficult this season has been from the start. They have really responded with some good hard nosed basketball.
