I hope they don't use that Nic celebration after the 3 as motivation, I cringed a little after that. All for celebrating, having fun, but that was kind of excessive showing off at that point.

Nic is an emotional guy; that's all part of the package. That said, I don't mind the celebrating, but he's been guilty of some really stupid emotional fouls in the past. (Credit to him though, although there was one last night, the number is way down this season.) At the end of the day, I'm really glad he's on our team.

Nothing wrong with an occasional over the top celebration. Hitting a guy in the face like happened to the Villanova player last night was excessive display.

I sense that UConn was trying to get into Nic's head and get him to get off his game - starting with the foul that resulted in the pile up of players. Following that event, I thought there was a good chance that Nic would immediately make a silly foul. It did not happen (like it did last year when he was frustrated w/ HOU at the AAC Tourney and in the LOU game). Seems he is controlling his emotions this year.
