Guys, it's the new landscape in college basketball. I'm by no means an "insider", but I've pieced together the situation from pay board comments, watching his rationship with MK, etc. Think of him as a senior. We have two great young guys coming in that can play PG.

I guess I really need to improve my reading comprehension skills because I have not gotten that from reading the pay boards.

Trying to make sure a player doesn't graduate is really looking out for the student athlete isn't it?

That's not how this works. All this is done through other channels, no violation

There are of course a lot of variables I am not aware of but the man is a freaking celebrity here. Not many other schools care that much.

LB has created a culture of family on this team (which comes from dean smith) that the players have all bought into. Nic is not going anywhere. Sed and shake will compete for Ryan's minutes and let nic go from player 37 minutes a game to 30 (which will make nic better).

and others insinuating hes gone. If we get slammed with postseason ban than sure he would leave. Have we backed off Chad Lott?

It doesn't make sense for him to transfer to SMU and sit out a season only to exhaust his eligibility elsewhere. I think he either turns pro or comes back to SMU, but would really be shocked if he went to another school.

He doesn't have to sit out if he graduates.
