This is a ridiculous thread.

What I see happening is a team that doesn't get rattled or abandon their game plan even when the opponent is shooting an outrageous percentage from somewhere in Berlin.

We WON both games. We shut both teams down for long stretches and, like a veteran, well-coached team we put them away at the end.

Nobody wins every game by 20 folks. You watching other conference games where the TCU's of the world are hanging around? Conference regular season championship and tournament game ARE stressful. Hopefully we get to stress out a bit more!

Come on in off the ledge you guys!

But…if there is one thing that will actually spell our downfall it is horrible free throw shooting.

50% Markus? Really?

If you really need to worry about something…that's it.

I did not like Nic giving Markus FT shooting pointers while he was at the line. That would mess my head up.

TCU played Kansas neck-to-neck 3 times this year

We've advanced in the conference tournament.
We're a lock for a top 8 seed in the NCAA tourney.
We're really considered a team that high seeds DO NOT want to see in their region.
We won today.

25-6 record this year.
52-16 in the past two seasons combined.
A NIT title game run last year.
Our first conference win in 9 years.

Still not good enough.

Enjoy the damn ride people.

There is a middle ground.
I have loved this season and everything we've done. I'm going to the NCAAs. But that still doesn't excuse our perimeter defense today. It was bad. And frustrating to watch because we've seen us shut down teams, like the way we did UCONN on Valentine's Day.

Battered Wife Syndrome....you be happy with an NIT final appearance. I'm hoping and counting on that LB and the team have much bigger aspirations and won't be satisfied with good results b/c they have great expectations of themselves. Being putrid for the last 25 years has warped so many minds around here its incredible.

Are you talking about yourself? Do you realize we won the game?

And I'll ask you again, specifically how was LB out coached?

His team, the #20 team in the nation with multiple players with next level talent, squeaked by a team that has won a grand total of two games away from their home arena all season with an RPI in the mid 200's. ECU was overmatched at virtually every position on the floor athletically and came within a whisker of beating a Top 25 opponent for the first time in years.

Even LB has admitted he's been outcoached. I bet we would say the same about today's performance. Luckily for him he had vastly superior talent which bailed out the terrible perimeter defense.

We have just six losses and have a semi final conference tournament game tomorrow. What more could I ask for?

He absolutely got outcoached. ECU is one of the worst teams in D1A. If they had won today it would've been their best win this year BY A MILE. We have three guys that have a legit shot at playing at the next level. They have zero. Larry was outcoached. Period. Thankfully for him and us he's recruited well enough to overcome that.

Do you realize ECU beat Cincinnati this season?
