exactly, this was ALL about what they couldn't prove but KNOW went on
Reading the NCAA report, it is obvious that they thought Malagi was directly responsible, but they couldn't prove it. The discussion that LB had daily conversations with the Admin, however, is the insinuation that LB really knew everything and they couldn't prove it. However, I will say that if SMU felt LB was behind everything, he would have been fired as well. The AD and President would not have his back.

If it took what we did to get to the level that we are at, how are we going to compete in the future if we don't continue doing what we did?
Am sure this question was asked in 1985 as well...

Whatever guys. We should have appealed the post season ban. Everybody should be pissed. This is the best team we've ever had and I'm disgusted with smu. You should be too. If you're not then you have no idea how things work.

Thanks. I finally joined. I'm pretty disaapointed. There are a lot of us who quietly buy 4 football tickets and 4 hoops tickets without any dreams of reselling them or hiring Bill Cowher. We are just damn proud of our college and the friends we made there. This is a collective kick to our nuts. I remember the pride we all took in flying into Nashville on 3 days notice to drive 3 hours to Louisville to get screwed by a goaltending call on a 3 pointer and still having a blast in Louisville for 2 more days because we don't get together enough. My poor wife was 8 months pregnant and she insisted I went. We still joke about it on the boulevard. Not sure anybody elses story but I only miss games for family milestones and sometimes I skip those. Made my wife leave her homecoming at tcu early to watch us submit to ecu after they kicked ut right in the chin (must be nice). There are a lot of us...and smu let us down with this decision.
Last negative post. I love smu and I always will.

Post season ban I assume that means we cannot play in the AAC Tournament this year. Right?

I have made over 1.39 M dollars reselling SMU tickets on StubHub. You to can be successfull in this part time business with little or no money down.
