We must've kicked that [deleted] pretty damn good. Here's what was reported on the UT Board about the secret scrimmage:

It was very ugly. As I've said a few times recently, everybody needs to tap the breaks on this season. We lost a ton of experience from last year. I'm still expecting 4-6 in Big XII and 6-7 seed by seasons end, but it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I agree. It's amazing that people haven't learned from the last two football seasons that having a young team really does have an effect on the team's success. I still think we will be pretty good by seasons end, but there will be some ugly moments. Thank God Shaka was smart enough to make adjustments to the schedule.

pretty good synopsis of what happened. I'll add that Semi is destroying everyone right now. They went from thinking he'd stay easily to him being first team all AAC

an excellent problem to have. Run and gun, 5-out, switch everything. pure madness

This from a UT Friend:

FYI the word is the bball Texas/SMU scrimmage last night is that SMU took Texas to the woodshed. Granted the main guy who runs point did not play but also not we have no true point guard. Apparently yalls Duke transfer killed Texas.

Hopefully it transfers to great success this season. Getting our guys drafted will be crucial to us competing for Top 50 prospects. While I realize our long-term success will be built on developing a stable of players in the 100-200 range that stay 4 years, we will be a more desirable program once we have some guys in the league and a freshman phenom every now and then could help us have a run like Syracuse did with Carmelo.

I'd take a UConn type of team. Final Four every 5 years or so.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

@GoodmanESPN heard SMU ran UT out of the gym

(Side note, I saw this when I didn't have time to post and went through keyword SMU on Twitter to find it again. Keyword SMU on Twitter pops up a lot of naked women. NTTAWWT  )
