probably not, but I've yet to see a game this year where all student sections are completely full. Might be due to lack of good teams that have come in, we'll see.

Frats are the heart of the student section(s) rowdiness/opponent harassment/noise/spirit. That has proven to be an advantage. We need all the help we can get.... especially with the blue hairs dozing off from an overdose of wine or exercising their arthritic thumbs on their phones.

I used to sit right next to the middle student section and I can tell you that we haven't had the same level of rowdiness or spirit since the first year return to Moody. There are some things SMU did in the way they ticket the games for that middle section and somethings they started doing differently during the games themselves that effectively killed the kind of thing you are talking about that was a huge advantage.

Cost isn't the issue - student tickets are free (as are those for faculty & staff) - they just have to get up off their duff and go get them from the ticket office in advance. Wish you could still show your ID at the door and walk in with a ticket, but those days are long gone...

Interesting. If they have switched to primarily man defense, that is going to fit our pick and roll offense pretty well if we are aggressive with it. Just have to hit the shots.

I will say this, we will determine "better" after a 3 game series (at Cincy, at Dallas and AAC tournament). That being said, a win at Cincy goes a long, long way to countering that argument. So we shall see.

There's no possible way to know who the better team is until we play. The only common opponent we've had is Temple. You won at Temple by 5. We won at home against Temple by 14. We are 3-1 against the RPI top 50. You are 1-2 against the RPI top 50.

Well said LA. It's not like they are undefeated and we are bad. We have won 10 in a row and gelled since a couple early season loses to pretty good teams. Cincy is a real good team. Going to be tough to beat them @Cincy but we can. I wouldn't trade our starting 5 for their's. Both good units. They do have more depth. It'll be fun to see who the better team is over the 2-3 times we play this season.
