Re: SMU considered a bubble team...I'm not going to act like a victim and expect the worst again. Our program is strong and our current team is very good. We will get in because we deserve it. Anyone who watches this team play and doesn't think we belong in the tourney does not know much about basketball.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: SMU considered a bubble team...After Sunday this won't be an issue.

Re: SMU considered a bubble team...And now, from the home office in Clute, Texas: Top 5 Reasons SMU is not a Bubble Team:
5. Our top 2 players are "Shemi and Shake." No better name combination in the country. TV commentators will love saying this! "Here come the Ponies, shimming and shaking down the court....alley oop! oh my! shake and shemi that!!!". That's so much more fun than saying, "Oh my Cotton! Grayson Allen just kicked someone in the nuts. That's going to hurt for a long time"; 4. The two winningest players in program history are "Sterling" and "007". Sound like British spies to me. Ben Moore: Moore, Ben Moore. Austin Powers: Excuse me, been more what? Ben Moore: Allow myself to introduce....myself. I'm Ben Moore and this is my girl, Lotsa Fagina. Austin Powers: come again? Ben Moore: I always do.... Deliver. Double- double. Austin Powers: Yeah Baby!! 3. We lost two Aussies and haven't lost our arses; 2. Jarrey has been hammered, stammered, punched, tripped, pushed and he can still get jiggy with New Edition. Jarrey's mom: Jarrey put on a damn helmet! 1. The Romo Curse Will Not Grace Moody This Year: Ever since Tony Romo stopped coming to SMU games, his career has been on the decline and SMU has been on the rise. On good word, Romo is not expected at the remainder of our season. Therefore, we should finish strong. Take Dak!

Re: SMU considered a bubble team...Actually, the Cowboys may be returning on Sunday. Be forewarned.
Re: SMU considered a bubble team...
Honestly, I think the conventional wisdom is that we've been unfairly screwed the last few years (other than Dickie V. He can suck it). I don't know, but maybe that would actually help our chances should we be in a position (after some unexpected losses) to be borderline.

Re: SMU considered a bubble team...
I would expect to see quite a few Cowboys at Moody on Sunday along with a former President. Might see a few Mavericks as well - as the Cincy game is sandwiched between two Mavs home games. In fact, someone should leave Mark Cuban a ticket so that he can see some good basketball. "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

I heard some whispers from the ticket office that they are struggling to fulfill all of the VIP requests.
