Re: Where are all those...
Since the majority of it transferred I don't think it matters.

Re: Where are all those...
2016 Class had already signed except the Australian Dough-boy-they couldn't have left without a release and still would have to sit. We likely would have had to pick up another recruit very late in the 2016 Class actually Shake and Jarrey would have had to sit out a year to transfer. It was Ben Moore, Sterling and Semi who would have been the biggest gambles because of the NCAA Senior rule Last edited by Stallion on Tue Feb 21, 2017 11:07 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Re: Where are all those...Could we please put it in reverse, pull a quickly U-y, and start to look forward? UCLA is in the rear view mirror and new road ahead. (I was there but now is exciting!)
Re: Where are all those...One thing this thread has made me contemplate: which team would have had a better shot in the tournament - this year's or last year's? I'm pretty torn. This year's team has obviously been great, but I LOVED last year's team. Nic's inimitable leadership, a bad-&$$ rebounder down low in Tolbert, one more rotation player, and the same nucleus minus Semi. I will always wonder what that team's record would have been if they had had something to play for down the stretch
Re: Where are all those...Last years team with Semi would have been amazing.
Re: Where are all those...last year's team with semi would've been a near lock to a final four berth and maybe even a natty.
Starters: G: Nic Moore G: Shake Milton F: Semi Ojeleye F: Marcus Kennedy F: Jordan Tolbert Bench: G: Sterling Brown F: Ben Moore F: Jarrey Foster G: Ryan Manuel G: Ben Emelogu The sight of this roster nearly made me cream my pants.
Re: Where are all those...
Is this a joke? No MK as a starter, he didnt even start last year. Ryan Manuel was gone, Ben E was out for injury.
Re: Where are all those...It just don't work that way.
Let's establish a beachhead in Hartford this weekend. I love this team. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Where are all those...
Dude chill - forgot about Gu's injury and Ryan graduating. Fine, MK replaced with BM. You get the picture..
Re: Where are all those...Still could have been worth the risk. Had last year's team made a deep run into the Tournament (Elite 8 or better) then we could have increased our stock a lot ( If we had lost in the 1st round, it could have hurt a lot too) We could have potentially kept LB, which would still keep top prospects looking at us. We would have had to "lawyer up" like other big boy schools, but we were never going to do that.
Looks like the decision may be the right one, but it is still too early to tell. We have still not won a tournament game.
Re: Where are all those...Lol, what does winning a tourney game have to do w anything? If we went last year, we'd have no Sterling/ben or '17 class. Also, Semi's not playing last year had nothing to do w sanctions. This isn't that hard folks.
Re: Where are all those...Its not too early to tell-those they think we should have appealed are smoking something. Program likely would have crashed especially with the Aussies bailing. We seriously could be starting walkons or picked over last minute leftovers

Re: Where are all those...Those that think we should have appealed should be huge June Jones fans. Had he appealed, Larry Brown would have been responsible for building our program and destroying it in 4 years.
