That's exactly right. What would you do if you happened to have a higher level of understanding or insight in a particular subject or field but kept seeing halfway opinions from blowhard, know it all types known for consistently degrading those who dare disagree with them? Hoopmanx has shown remarkable restraint all in all IMO.

I've been frustrated a few times. It'd be like me trying to tell a rocket engineer how rocket combustion chambers work in a rocket based off what I read in the Complete Idiot's Guide to Building a Rocket.

And we're now on Page 21 for gostangs

Also some more popcorn

Here we go . . . did the DMN read this thread?

They just can't let this go. . .

The Ticket (specifically The Hardline around 6:05PM) did a full segment on it as well.

One interesting thing about this is how it points out that killing football also weakend us against in other sports which I'm sure was all too welcomed by our instate rivals - yes particularly the whorns (swimming track and field). All part of the plan I suppose

I've got it! The final answer…..definitive…..

After I finished my General Tso's chicken while watching St Johns-Xavier last night I reached for my fortune cookie.

It read: "Good news from afar will bring you a welcome visitor."

We are done here people.

Every very good program in the country would rather get bounced in the first rd of the conf tourney and make it to the second weekend of the dance than win the conf tourney and get bounced on day one from the ncaa.

A quick example that the regular season matters to people is Steve Lavin at UCLA and Roy Williams at Kansas. Steve Lavin made it to 5 sweet 16's in 6 seasons had a down year and got bounced. Roy Williams routinely had several consecutive early exits in the NCAA tournament at Kansas, yet never had any heat thrown his way because he routinely dominated the regular season.

Talking about conf tournaments and winning the conference, not regular season performance. Also, Lavin getting bounced was insane and every one knew it.

To the original discussion, the Gators have, by almost every objective measure, had the best ten yr run of anyone jn the country. You can disagree, but you would be wrong.
