That was awesome. Crowd won the game. Didn't show up until halftime, but at the ten minute mark on it was super intense. That is the first time I have left Moody feeling like I couldn't hear very well anymore.

Both teams struggled at the line. that is what happens when you have two schools playing with a ton on the line and the two teams couldn't handle it. We now effectively have a 3 game lead over temple with the head to head. The winner of this game was in the drivers seat for winning conference, and it is great to be in that spot.

Last year, we get drilled in that game. Fall apart, and Nic would have committed his 5th (he almost did on that out of bounds call that got overturned).

One thing is very clear, though. Teams that have enough bigs to matchup inside (Gonzaga, Temple, Cincy, Arkansas) give us a lot of trouble, because they can play man on us, and the only consistent outside shooter is the only guy who can really drive the ball.

Two great adjustments by LB though. One was the switch defensively with Manuel to lock temple down in the second half.

The other was to have Manual run point a lot and move Nic off the ball, using the bigs inside to screen and free Nic up.

Temple did what teams used to do against Duncan - the moment MK took a dribble, they left and doubled. Mk has to expect the double and either quickly attack it or send the ball back outside. That is what was missing tonight, and we turned it over a lot because of it. LB will have MK prepared for it by the next game.

Temple was well prepared defensively-when we tried to get the ball inside they collapsed into the lane and several times blocked or stopped back door cuts. couple of turnovers on Nick that usually result in big plays.

word is that temple has a guy who transferred from villanova and knows MK. They got into it at the end. I can't confirm that but MK was yelling and pointing at someone.

Temples RPI actually jumped from 31 to 30 after losing to us. You're welcome?

If Temple drills Tulsa, like they should, that will also help.

Maybe they can stomp on their logo at the end of the game if they win.

The amount of officiating complaints after every single loss our team has handed out this season is just ridiculous.
