Next Time SMU signs a player that is anywhere close to making that list then we'll talk.

SMU will have 2 kids on the roster next year rated in the top 100 by one service or another. In the case of Shawn Williams, top 50 in several services. Vilde, had he played AAU, was easily a Top 100 kid, and I've seen most all of them on the circuit. Smith didn't exactly run national tourneys either, but he has top 125 type talent. Several of us have a Top 100 kid in '12 as being a strong SMU lean as well. We'll see, but talent isn't the issue at SMU any longer, and that's about 85% of the battle
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

Good stuff PD.

As someone who witnessed the Pony Express firsthand I can tell you a packed Moody against a worthy opponent was just as exciting / entertaining.

Would absolutely love to see us start scheduling Tech, Baylor, A&M and UT at Moody. I am assuming all but UT would be interested.

And when we do turn this around, reserving the bottom bowl for students only is a MUST.
