Typical.

Shawn Williams was just interviewed by Rich: "I feel like Moody is the next Cameron. (When we play there) it feels like we are playing at Duke"

The Hartford Courant . . . STORRS – On the day the Huskies honored their 1999 national champs, the current team turned in one of its worst performances of the season.
It wasn’t a lack of intensity that dogged the Huskies, but the suffocating defense Southern Methodist applied from start to finish. UConn shot just 29 percent from the floor and lost, 64-55, before 10,276 at sold-out Gampel Pavilion.
The loss hurts the Huskies (21-6, 9-5 in the Amercan Athletic Conference) on several levels. Losing at home is likely to hurt their RPI, and with that their chances for a favorable NCAA seed. And it probably cost them any chance of a first- or second-place finish in the league. SMU was knocked out of the rankings last week, and UConn, current 21st, figures to tumble out again this week.
The Mustangs (22-6, 11-4) have now beaten UConn twice this season. Nic Moore (15), Nick Russell (15) and Markus Kennedy (13) all scored in double figures as SMU, after its own sluggish offensive start, shot better than 50 percent in the second half and took control of the game, opening an 11-point lead. http://www.courant.com/sports/uconn-mens-basketball/hc-uconn-men-0224-20140223,0,2462593.story

On the radio, Larry just said, "I hope we can get up to where June has his program." You are well past that sir.

Very solid win. Unlike our USF and Temple effort. Played hard and competed in all phases of the game. Hitting all those shots early in the second half really put pressure on UConn. Loved the effort by the bench. Too many good players that can wear other teams down.
Too many players putting in great efforts to point to won player.

Larry just said that it's nice to have something to cheer for "and we hope we can get to where June's got his program."
He really puts credit on everyone except himself, doesn't he?
