Should be an interesting finish to the regular season and our guys could still finish anywhere from 5th to 7th. All they have to do is win 5 games in a row to earn that invite to the dance. How many SMU fans think that's even possible the way this season has gone? Sure appears 6 of the top 7 teams are finishing strong and then there is SMU...

At this point I'm wondering if one in a row is achievable.

I think this is the most disappointing SMU team in the last 25 seasons along with the 2000-01 Sasser team that had aspirations for the NCAA tournament and ended the season with a 6 game skid. Like that team, this team has no plans and is the poster child for Charmin.

Why is the MWC playing their conference tournament this week?

No SDSU beat Air Force last nite and just handled Boise St to reach the Championship in Vegas. Another game coming up

I suppose the MWC wanted to be the 1st conference to qualify a team for the NCAA? Can't imagine why they planned things this way.

I think it is so they don't have to compete with the PAC-12 and WCC for attention in Las Vegas.

I suspect it is tv exposure. Starting next week every major conference will be filling every channel and they probably wouldn't have gotten any tv time except on espn3.

They moved it because of a huge cement or concrete or something to that effect convention in vegas next week. WCC is the first half of next week and WAC and PAC12 second half. At the time (last summer)hotels and flights were going to be more scarce than usual.
