Not an injury issue - he hasn't practiced in two months. It will take a while to get in game shape now that he is cleared...

This just might have been the greatest defensive performance in SMU History-we were giving up 4-5 inches inside to talented big men but the intensity and determination was outstanding. Jankovich coached the pants off Sean Miller. The Thanksgiving Miracle-the night when Ben Emelogu took down the No. 2 team in the Country. Sure most of his Offense was in first half but his energy was infectious when most of the team seemed intimidated. Redemption-got to love College Basketball when you see a kid work so hard and improve beyond your widest dreams.

SMU's offensive boards and Arizona's turnovers were a huge part of this win, giving our guys a tremendous shot advantage to help overcome the poor shooting. I do like the way this team is protecting the ball. As a TEAM, these guys are approaching a 2:1 assist:turnover ratio with Foster and Gu at 3:1 and Whitt and Shake, who are doing most of the handling at 2:1. In limited minutes, Landrun has 6 assists and only 1 turnover. Have to like what you are seeing form this very unselfish team.

Great night for Landrum. I really hope he still gets minutes when McMurray plays. Shake and jarrey will have some tired legs this morning. Landrum can help some with that.

He had some complications so yes technically it was an injury. He get in better shape over the next couple of weeks and be back to normal imo as long as their are no reoccurrences of the complications.

Well at least one of the best in history. Let’s hope Zona beats Purdue so the won’t drop out of the top 15 or 20.

What a game last night. Wanted to watch because I am intrigued by the possibilities with this team as they develop. My best case was to see flashes of elite play against good competition, take a lead in the first half and keep it close at halftime. A lot of fun to see something special that you aren't expecting.

Also the funniest image last night was when Will Douglas was asked to guard D. Ayton. And yet props to Douglas, he did a decent job fronting him during that stretch.
This offense is going to frighten everyone once McMurray joins and guys like Douglas have the light come on, so to speak.
I kind of wish Douglas had taken that shot from 18 feet after the great ball movement and the great head fake got his man in the air. Instead, Homeless Man's Shake Milton got off a mediocre shot and missed.

I agree Douglas should have pulled the trigger on the three and on the pull up after he shot faked. Both were better looks than Shake’s. Shake did get an ok look but just couldn’t make on that day. Douglas just needs his confidence to click, because I think he is likely the best pure shooter of the freshmen.
