SMU leads 85-84 with 1:28.

Tulane is 11-36 from three point range. Due to their 31 offensive rebounds, they have out shot SMU 92 to 66!

SMU still leads 85-84, but Tulane has the ball and calls timeout with 52.4 left.

Enjoyed your commentary CA Mustang! Exciting game. We need to learn some clock management skills, but at least they pulled it off when it counted. Hope the girls can wake up in time for tomorrow's game against Rice, which is supposed to be on CSTV! :D

Rice had to love this, not only did we play the late game, but it dragged to triple overtime.

Attendance was 2,474, which was the largest crowd of the year and rivals the men!

Thanks Ponymon! You beat me to the punch several times! 8)

SMU led consistently, but always left the door just open enough for Tulane. While Tulane did get a lot of offensive rebounds, many of those were due to the record number of blocks by SMU.

Yes, tomorrow's game is on CSTV.

I plan to go to the men's game tomorrow night, so I will see the first half of the women's game on TV and listen to the second half on the radio.

Wish I could go. Help lead them to victory! Time to sign off and watch the end of Mad Money before hitting the sack. Cramer drives the wife crazy, but he does bring up some interesting stocks that the shorts immediately hit upon his recommendation!

Alright, go ladies!

I literally fell asleep watching the game on my all-access thing during the 2OT, so I wasn't sure how it ended.

Go Rhonda, Go MUSTANGS!

Great Win last night Ladies

Postby Bigtime41 » Sat Mar 04, 2006 12:18 pm

One of the best games I have seen all year. Filled with many highs and lows but the Lady Mustangs hung in there. Someone made the comment about when Samuels get there next year those 3 pointers will get dropped. You got potentially 100 plus made 3 pointers coming and a more uptempo style of play next year. SMU should get by Rice today and then a show down with probably Tulsa. Tulane will be very competitive the next two years because they only have 1 junior and no seniors. Great win however SMU must do a better job of clock management down the stretch and box out on the offensive boards. Great team effort last night! Go Stangs!
