getting whipped in every phase of the game today; let's hope they can turn it around in the 2nd half. After playing that poorly and being down only 10 points, this is far from over

Poor first half. Poor shooting, poor defense, too many UTEP offensive rebounds and too many SMU turnovers.

32-22 at the half and a miracle we are that close. This doesn't sound like the SMU teams we have followed during conference play.

As an eternal optimist, I'm going to say that if we lost this game, we will beat UTEP if we meet them a 3rd time this year. The old rule that as long as you are competitive, it's really tough to beat a team 3 times in the same year

I remember Arkansas' tripletts finally beating us the 3rd time they played us one year back in the SWC Tourney days
