Well, I guess I need to quit watching. After I turn it on, two embarrassing turnovers, atrocious rebounding on the defensive end, a blocked dunk, and 2 missed FTs. Ouch on my part.

Easy to find SMU Mens basketball haters...they sure like posting.....

But they obviously don't watch the games.....

Sure SMU only scored 28 points...but if you were not there, you don't know how painful it was.

I want Doherty gone....BUT I also realize how hard it is to win in D-1 Basketball in Texas if the name of your school is not Texas or Baylor. This is football country, SMU has nothing to offer to a basketball player....they could go to dozens of private universities back east with more to offer than SMU.

Dallas is football country...and no matter who our coach is...we will have a hard time succeeding down south. Going into the Big East is definitely the best boost we could get...better than any coaching hire.

Bull ship! When the SWC finally folded, we had one of the best records in the conference. Unfortunately, post Bliss hires sucked. There is no reason SMU can't be better than pissant schools. I don't know if you have been to Waco, but it doesnt offer half of what Dallas does.

Exactly. Baylor was a total disaster and has only been good for the past few years when they decided to start blatantly paying players.

You drive bye guys are funny... I think I am probably older than you and I remember SMU winning one conference title and one conference tournament in the last 25 years...It was not that easy. We by no means dominated anyone in recent memory.

Sure Baylor and Texas can do good. because they are in the Big 12 with Kansas....Going to the Big East is the best boost for SMU.

Firing Doherty is no magic bullet.....

And they pull away because we simply can't score. Utterly reliant on the three. Nyuk misses two straight FTs? Your kidding me.

Welp, there was some fight, just came up short to a team that has 20+ wins and no losses at home.

38-18 on the boards? By now i shouldn't be surprised, but that is atrocious. I'm also not a fan of the 5 in 5 out substitutions, with set 5 minute intervals. Very JV. Or Youth YMCA. Clink had his best game of the year tonight, but seriously at this point, why is he eating minutes? At this point, if i am Orsini, I tell Doh to play Manual for 40 minutes or until he asks for a breather. What a year.

I'm not sure Baylor has won a Basketball Conference championship in 62 years. Have they? I'm reasonably sure they didn't win a SWC since 1950. They haven't won a Big 12

Last conference title in Men's Basketball was 1950. They made the Final Four that year, as well.

12-18, 3-12 - tied for last in cusa with Tulane. ECU beat Marshall so SMU and Tulane must win Saturday to force a 3-way tie. I would think SMU doesn't have any tiebreakers. If SMU and Tulane finish tied, they split head to head but after that, hard to know.
