Sour grapes rationale to me. He got us as many good players in less than one year than we have had in the past 30. If Chicago has the players and you have the connections only in that town then there is no reason to waste time and bounce all over the country to find players. At any rate, he is history and we wish him well.

LOL @ he got us as many good players in one year than we've had in the last 30. He was directly responsible for Ben Moore, not a top 150 kid. He was partially responsible for Sterling Brown &, a top 100-150 kid, as well as Moreira, a very good big. You have to know the actual score to make robust claims. Before Frazier, that's a Doh level class, no better, no worse. After Frazier, a Maligi kid, we made a huge jump. I have no sour grapes w/regards to Jerrance, cause I've always known his agenda. It was clear and well publicized at Illinois. I expected him to recruit Chicago and he did. He'll continue to do it at Kansas. He's a good recruiter, but hasnt proven to be great yet. Nothing he did at SMU was great, just good. I expect the '14 class to be closer to great than the '13, that simple.

Funny how you change your tune. Before we landed Frazier you downplayed him tremendously and now you make it sound like he completely transformed this class. Which is it? You lose credibility when you spin your arguments at your convenience. I think that Frazier is a huge get, but thought so from the start.

I didn't change my tune at all. We're discussing Howards contributions, and they weren't the be all end all. My point is that Frazier's signing is what elevated the class ranking to above & beyond a Doh level class. He's a very highly ranked kid, whether I think he's head & shoulders above Brown or not, which I don't. Brown was also more than partially Eric Snows recruit. So, if you're praising Howard as the recruiter, understand that his contributions, at least w/regards to the '13 class, gave them a Doh level class on paper. It was Maligi's addition of the highly ranked Frazier that gives the perception that 'we signed more good players in this class than in the last 30 years.' Also, I don't lose credibility by saying things like Frazier is probably a bad fit, that he has no history of playing D etc. I like the kid, but get back to me when you know his test score w/one test to go.

I'm not saying he won't qualify, I'm saying he hasn't as of yet, and its a huge concern.
