We all are quick to point out when something is done poorly. Time to acknowledge that SMU hit this out of the park.

I can almost guarantee this wasn't put together in the last 24 hours. They knew this was coming at some point most likely. I think they probably updated the memo in their file to reflect the recent media attention. I have to think our guys knew there was a chance someone ran with this.

But LB looked genuinely surprised in the interview.

LB has handled national press at the highest and sleaziest levels. He can handle Brett Shipp.

And he did. He must of figured something was up when an unknown reporter (to him) starts asking a loaded questions on his academic standards and not the game. He answered the question that was asked and the follow up in a thorough and thoughtful way. He then put Shipp on the spot with his question on who and Shipp slinked away behind pointing fingers as SMU staff.

The best part is LB's cheer for beating Houston. Pretty darn funny. He just moved on and moves on today. Wish we had a home game tomorrow instead of a roadie. Moody would be nuts.

I would love to see LB start Keith against Memphis on Saturday just to give this guy the finger
