1 or 2 OOC games at the AAC wouldn't be too bad. But if they could schedule all at Moody that would be good.

Yeah. You could tell just having to play Tulsa last season was tough for him and they will be back next year...

One Holiday game/tourney at the AAC is fine.

They will be doing away with home and homes for the most part, maybe one or two. Most top teams are not going to travel to Moody, just the way it is. I expect more neutral floor games or some early season tournament. I'd expect many more home games next year in the OOC, only a few road games and they will only be against big teams. No more traveling to Wyoming or other teams as such. Teams will be happy to travel to Moody, but I doubt it's going to be BCS tier teams unless they have a unique home and home and certainly not any top of the food chain teams. Top of the food chain likely won't schedule SMU at home either as they will be a dangerous team, same reason nobody wants Gonzaga rolling through.

There just aren't enough Bill Self's out there. Too many of these guys have an itchy vag. That said, you're not wrong.

its old school and that's fine but he should really reconsider this. SMU needs the exposure, and while we have some nice crowds going we still have to give the people something to buy into. No Louisville next year, and Cincy and Memphis might be down given so many seniors. And what does one or two games hurt? These days even the conference regular season single games are fairly unimportant, and the December preseason games are getting basically no attention throughout most of the country. That tournament in corpus was painful this year, nobody was there literally.

I'd rather sell-out moody than have 12,000 at AAC

If we keep winning the city of Dallas very well could get behind SMU and SMU could get a lot of tee shirt fans. If we keep win I think we could sell it out. Not saying I would want AAC over Moody but it could be done. With the publicity the school is getting from the networks and the celebrities coming to the games SMU could be the hottest ticket in town if they keep winning.

I'd rather see TCU and 2nd tier teams come to Moody. SMU shouldn't be conforming to them much more.

We should stop scheduling TCwho. They do nothing but lower the RPI for SMU. . . After all, we are TCwho's NBA finals game
