Yes, especially against a team that grew up thinking your school was not to be feared at all (Houston's players' perception of SMU) and that knows your team very well having been rivals for so long (and they will be well rested and so depth probably won't be too much of an issue - if we played them in the 3rd game in 3 days then yes it would). Talent level: Rose and Nic are a wash. Thomas and MK are a wash (Thomas probably slightly better). We don't really have anyone who matches up well against House or Chicken. Again, that's why Yanick is a huge X factor. Very few teams have that size that can also run the floor (plus Cannen has length for depth). Our perimeter D and interior offense is key. We beat them on their home floor because they had some key injuries just back and we were VERY lucky to beat them at Moody (where no one had beaten us). Neutral floor, I give the slight advantage to Houston.

I have always scoffed at this "oh, it's very difficult to beat a team 3 times" BS. There is no logical basis for this belief, it's just plain stupid. That kind of mantra is only spoken to prop up the underdog and make the story more interesting.

I would always rather go into a game having beaten a team twice already. ALWAYS!!
